THESE ARE THE ONLY CHANGES WE MADE FOR 2012 PRO-STOCK- To include all Stock Raptor, all Stock Animal Alcohol and all Senior Stock classes. Due to the lack of karts in 2 of those classes we have decided to combine them all. Here is the difference. All Animal engines will have to run the 3 hole Gold Plate. You can run either Alcohol or Gas and can have a Stock Animal Alcohol engine or Animal Gas Box Stock but all will run the plate. Stock Raptors have not changed. We also will drop the weight in the class to 350# for all karts in the class. It should make for some great racing. With the plate the engines will be within 2 tenths of a horse power. Giving the Raptor 2 tenths advantage but the Animal will have a slight advantage on torque. WINGED OUTLAW – We are running 3 classes of Wings this year. All classes will be involved in NWOK National Standings and VKS will be a National Santioned Track and running NWOK Engine Rules. First is the Winged Outlaw Animal for ages 12-16. Using a Animal Alcohol engine and a weight to be determined later. Winged Outlaw 250cc will be Similar to what we run now but will now include any 250cc 4-stroke or 2-stroke dirt bike style single cylinder engine. The 4-stroke MUST BE STOCK!!!! 2-Stroke can run with the rules from last year. Winged Outlaw Open 500cc will be any dirt bike style single cylinder engine, 2-Stroke or 4-Stroke with a maximum 575cc. Check NWOK.org for more rules. CLONE – This is the only Clone Class we are running this year. To include up to a Stage 3 Clone engine. Then we are running wka/akra rules which are similar except exhaust and we are running akra exhaust rules. See below engine rules on clone. BOX STOCK/ 6.5 CLONE 2011 RULES ENGINE SPECIFIC TECH SHEET FOR: BOX STOCK 6.5 OHV DESCRIPTION: SINGLE CYLINDER, 2 VALVE, OHV 4 CYCLE IMPORTANT NOTE: ALLPARTS MUST BE BOX STOCK FACTORY PRODUCTION PARTS UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN THESE RULES. NO MACHINING OR ALTERATION OF PARTS IS ALLOWED UNLESS SPECIFICALLY NOTED. ALL PARTS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A COMPARISON TO A KNOWN BOX STOCK PART ( WHEN PERFORMING A ”STOCK PART” COMPARISON CHECK IT IS RECOMMENDED TO USE A +/-.005″ TOLERANCE). ENGINE WILL BE TECHED AS RACED. THERE WILL ALSO BE A $200 CLAIMING RULE IN PLACE FOR THIS ENGINE. REFUSING TO ACCEPT THE CLAIMER WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION OF COMPETITOR ALONG WITH FORFEITURE OF ANY POINTS EARNED TO DATE IN CLASS. COMPETITOR WILL ALSO NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE FOR TWO WEEKS IN THE CLASS. THE SECOND TIME YOU REFUSE YOU ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO COMPETE IN THE CLASS. COMBUSTION CHAMBER VOLUME: 26.5 CUBIC CENTIMETER MINIMUM, WITH PISTON AT TDC, USING PRESCRIBED PROCEDURE. CYLINDER HEAD REQUIREMENTS: MUST BE OEM CASTING ONLY. PORTING AND/OR GRINDING ARE NOT PERMITTED. VALVE SEATS ARE TWO ANGLES, 45 DEGREES VALVE FACE AND 30 DEGREES TOP RELIEF. INTAKE SEAT…
